To help you plan your day on Catalina, you will be taking the 9:50am ferry from Long Beach, arriving onto the island at approximately 10:50am.
You will be departing the island on the 3:50pm ferry, with disembarkation in Long Beach scheduled for 4:50pm.
Avalon Scenic Tour: 50 Minutes
Discover the enchantment of Avalon everywhere you turn on this delightful journey along the beachfront, up the hillsides and through the heart of our friendly town.
Undersea “Semi-Submersible” Expedition: 45 Minutes
Come face-to-face with Catalina’s abundant marine life by cruising five feet under water in a spacious, climate-controlled cabin. Every passenger has their own seat and port hole plus you’re free to roam about the cabin seeking other viewpoints. You’ll see an incredible array of undersea dwellers: bright orange garibaldi, spotted calico bass, urchins, rockfish and bat rays, just to name a few. This is more than a tour; it’s an undersea adventure.
Behind the Scenes Casino Tour: 70 Minutes
A guided tour through an Art Deco masterpiece. Visit the Avalon Theatre and watch a Buster Keaton silent short featuring the theatre’s historic organ music. Continue up to the beautiful Casino Ballroom where big bands played.
Glass Bottom Boat Tour: 40 Minutes
Come discover Mother Nature’s hidden undersea world. View the colorful fish and unusual marine plants and animals while our knowledgeable tour guides identify each unique species along the way.
Zip Line Eco Tour: 2 Hours
The ultimate Catalina Island interior experience, zip down five differentzip line routes totaling 3,761 lineal feet cruising at speeds up to 45 miles an hour, reaching heights of over 300 feet. At each platform in between zips learn about the island’s history, ecology, and culture. This promises to be a thrilling and exhilarating way to experience Catalina!

Explore Catalina’s coast as natives did 5,000 years ago. Rentals are available by the hour and half-day and include instruction and Coast Guard approved vests. Guided kayak tours are available and feature extras such as natural history talk, landings on secluded beaches, snacks and picnic lunches. No experience necessary.

The museum’s collections are comprised of artifacts from and about Santa Catalina Island. The museum features a large and
comprehensive collection of Catalina pottery and tile which was manufactured on the island from 1927-1937. The museum has over
10,000 photographs and negatives documenting island life from the early 1880s to the present day. The museum collection also contains boat models, sport fishing items, artifacts from the island's steamships and much more. The museum is the repository for all archaeological digs on the island and has one of the largest collections of Tongva and Gabrielino artifacts in the world.
